Casa Verde is a new multipurpose space dedicated to art and its many manifestations. If you head there now, you can check out their current exhibition entitled: Todo Loco (all crazy!)
The exhibition is an open call where the great protagonist is actually madness! The theme particularly explores the artistic fields of the curious form that is the madness of local art into which have been invited several emerging artists of the city. A few of those include Geraldine Barrera and her installation with collages using different fabrics, paintings and colors, Julys Buendia with her irreverent galoche welcoming new artistic showings, and Enrique Nuñes whose cleanliness and subtlety toe a curious line between madness and urban psychological shock. These shows are on until May 15 so don’t waste any time!
Casa Verde, as it is aptly called, is a typical, prado-style republican house with great architectural value and a fabulously tranquil atmosphere. The establishment is run by two well-known local artists, Fernando Garcia and Emma Anna, both of whom are well established locally, nationally and internationally.
